I finally got accepted as a DMOZ editor for the ODP After more effort than I thought it'd be I was accepted as a DMOZ editor for Baton Rouge Restaurants this week. As you can see when I ranted about web development not too long back I finally tried to become an editor, was turned down and had to re-apply. They're really cautious(rightfully so) about who they let edit because of the potential for abuse.

I'm looking forward to working with DMOZ because I want to expand the quality of Baton Rouge area web listings so that absolute garbage will not make it to the top of the SERPS when people are just looking for simple local information.  ¶ 2:02 PM
