FIFA World Cup Football Tournament I've been watching World Cup Soccer every day for since it started and getting mroe into it. Funny how all of a sudden at 28 I've decided to become a soccer fan. The action is pretty cool except its kind of hard to get over the fact that there is almost no scoring. For example the USA got beat by the Chechs 3-0 in their opener. Thats like LSU losing to Ole Miss 56-0 in an American style football game. Yet the whole time the fans are going totally insane even in a match like say France's opener where the score was 0-0. A total shoot-out is when the score is 3-2.

Anyhow I don't know why but I find myself enjoying the game more and more. I think just the energy and passion of the players and fans makes it fun to watch. Lack of energy and people not really caring is what makes professional baseball and basketball in America suck so bad for me now days.

I think I'll start looking into getting World Cup Soccer tickets for 2010. The event looks like a total blast.  ¶ 10:16 PM
